Kilmore Sewerage Treatment Plant Treatment Wetland

Purpose

AWC were engaged by Goulburn Valley Water to design a polishing treatment system at the end of an expanding sewerage treatment facility in Kilmore. This entailed designing an eight cell vertical flow treatment wetland to finish the treatment system prior to discharging into the environment. EPA conditions for water quality required a wet weather storage pond for occassions when treated water was not to standard.
