Overview
AWC was engaged by Blacktown City Council to design a drainage reserve in collaboration with Calibre. The project addressed rehabilitation and ecological objectives including 50% canopy cover goals, created flood storage and stormwater treatment solutions, and adhered to Crime Prevention, through Environmental Design (CPTD) principles; whilst simultaneously creating a public space for passive recreation and increased pedestrian connectivity.
