Wet Tropics Major Integrated Project – Catchment Repair and Treatment Systems Design Phase

Catchment Analysis | Treatment Technology | Stakeholder Engagement | Site Investigation | Feasibility Study

Overview

The Wet Tropics Major Integrated Project (MIP) collaborative project funded by Qld Government trialling and implementing place-based interventions within the Tully and Johnstone River catchments, driven by objectives of the Reef 2050 targets.

AWC was part of this team, selecting, analysing, designing, and aiding in construction supervision of systems, which included denitrification bioreactors, in-drain and landscape wetlands, high-efficiency sediment basins, and riparian buffer zones.

AWC excelled in creating informative and easy to understand visual packages bridging the gap between farmers and science community and the grant body
