Katie holds a degree in Environmental Engineering, her university studies focused on drinking water and wastewater treatment processes and design, hydraulics and hydrology and water sensitive urban design. Katie has six years’ experience working in the field of environmental and water management both in Australia and Chile. Her previous work has focused on stormwater management, coastal, estuary and environmental management and planning, nature-based solutions design and assessment and water quality sampling and analysis. Katie was involved in researching planning and assessment pathways for nature-based solutions for flood risk mitigation with the Australian National University.
Katie is part-way through completing a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management through the University of New England.
