Overview
Large flood events, limited vegetation and high flows into a Franklin Vale Creek has eroded and destabilised the creek bank. AWC has been partnering with AWLQ were in a Design and Construct process to provide a solution to stabilise the bank and prevent further environmental damage and loss of land.
The project involves measures to reduce sediment lost to downstream environments,
re-stabilise the streambanks to protect from future erosion, and increase the roughness of the banks through green engineering approaches.
