Overview
As part of the greater Gold Coast Water Strategy, AWC in partnership with Stantec undertook an assessment methodology prioritising planning, catchment management activities and rehabilitation efforts across the CoGC in a strategic and cost-effective manner by identifying, understanding and evaluating a catchment’s unique values and the threats that impact upon it.
The Framework is to be based on existing CoGC waterways monitoring programs and data, integrated with catchment planning processes, resulting in assessment method using spatial layers suitable for broader user group.
