Voyager Point Park Wetland
Purpose
Prepare a rectification design and REF for remedial works at Voyager Point Park Wetland. The stormwater treatment devices is not functioning as designed, short cutting the system and flooding neighboring roads in high rain events.
Proposed Action
The remedial actions proposed include clearing blockages (sediment build up and excess plant growth, weed control and creation of a maintenance access track).
Assessment
The impact of proposed works and statutory requirements were assessed for the following environmental factors: hydrology, ASS, ecology, noise, vibration, heritage, visual amenity, dangerous goods and cumulative impacts.
Objectives
- Consultation with relevant government agencies (OEH, DPI & MLALC)
- Site Survey & Environmental Assessment
- Search of all Databases, registers and listings identifying potential issues
- A literature review of planning and statutory documents applicable to the proposal
