Purpose
To remediate identified impacts from stormwater by addressing past damage and installing cost-effective Best Practice pollutant source controls and treatment systems.
Objectives
- To reduce the frequency and volume of smaller more frequent stormwater discharges entering Airforce Beach Wetland
- Improve the water quality leaving the residential area
- Prevent environmental weed incursion into the core wetland
- Reduce the volume of sediment reaching the core wetland area
- Add to the biodiversity values of the area
