Fauna survey | Reporting | Data analysis

Purpose

AWC have completed fauna survey and reporting for the 2011, 2012 and 2013 Bluesfest events at Tyagarah, NSW to identify potential impacts on fauna habitat in order to fulfil requirements of consent. The project analysed fauna species and abundance over a long time period including prior to, during and following each event and completed statistical analysis to examine any significant data trends.

Objectives

  • To gather data on fauna species prior to, during and following events at pre-determined monitoring locations
  • To investigate and record threatened fauna movements
  • To monitor Koalas throughout the survey period
  • To record a range of other environmental data to support the dataset
