Purpose
An Environmental Management Plan (EMP) was prepared by AWC (on behalf of Australian Wetlands Pty Ltd) for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) specific to the upgrade of the Bruce Highway between Cooroy and Curra. The Plan addressed various Technical Standards identified by TMR with regard to six (6) areas where vegetation rehabilitation works were required.
Objectives
- Provide clear guidance for contractors working at the rehabilitation sites of their obligations with regard to vegetation management, weed control, fauna management, water quality monitoring, erosion and sediment control and other related environmental matters
